Severe blade wear
After long-term operation, the bucket blade will be severely worn due to friction with materials such as sand, gravel, and rocks. Once the blade thickness is significantly thinned and the cutting ability is reduced, the operation must be stopped immediately. If there is no spare blade replacement on site, the surfacing repair method can be temporarily adopted. The wear-resistant welding rod is surfacing on the worn part with a welding machine to increase the thickness and wear resistance of the blade, but the surface needs to be polished after surfacing to ensure flatness. At the same time, contact professional maintenance personnel to arrange for the replacement of a new blade as soon as possible.
Partial fracture of the blade
When the blade is partially broken, continued use may cause the fracture surface to expand and even cause a safety accident. At this time, the loader should be driven to a safe area and the broken part should be cut off with cutting equipment to prevent it from falling off in subsequent operations. If the fracture area is small, high-strength bolts and steel plates can be used for reinforcement, holes are punched on both sides of the fracture, and the steel plate and the bucket blade are fixed with bolts; if the fracture area is too large, a new bucket blade must be replaced, and the operation cannot be continued with a fluke mentality.
Foreign objects embedded in the blade
During operation, foreign objects such as steel bars and stones may be embedded in the blade of the bucket. Never force the bucket to operate to avoid damaging the blade and other parts. The loader engine should be turned off first, and the foreign object should be carefully removed using tools such as crowbars and hydraulic jacks. If the foreign object is stuck too tightly, you can try to use acetylene flame to locally heat the blade area around the foreign object to expand the metal and assist in
removing the foreign object.
In daily operations, regular inspection and maintenance of the loader bucket blade can effectively reduce the occurrence of emergencies. However, when emergencies occur, correct emergency handling can prevent the problem from worsening and ensure the normal operation of the equipment and the safety of personnel.
