How to maintain the excavator bucket?

1. Regularly check the wear situation

Check the bucket teeth: Regularly check the degree of wear of the bucket teeth, excessive wear of the bucket teeth will seriously affect the excavation efficiency. When the tip of the bucket teeth appears obvious rounded corners, uneven wear, etc., it should be replaced in time.

Check the side plate and cutting blade: Carefully check the side board and cutting blade to see if there are cracks and wear. Because the impact intensity of these areas is high, it may need to be reinforced if there is wear. The damaged edge can prevent further poor performance by replacing or repairing methods.

Check the body: View the overall situation of the bucket body, especially the bottom and the parts connected to the bucket teeth. If the wear of the body becomes thinner at the bottom of the bucket, it may cause the intensity to decrease the risk of cracking. If you find problems such as cracks and deformation of the bucket, you must make replenishment or repair according to the degree of damage.

Note: It is recommended to check after each use. For heavy -duty homework, checking every day helps to discover any damage as soon as possible and keep the bucket in a good  state.

2. Connection site maintenance

Check the connection firmness:

You regularly check the parts of the connection between the bucket and the excavator arm, including bolts, pins and other connectors. Make sure they do not loosen or fall off. The loose connection may shake the bucket during the operation, affect the excavation effect, and even cause the bucket to fall off and cause a security accident. If there is a loose, use the appropriate tools to tighten them in time.

Lubrication maintenance:

Lubricating the connection part. Lubrication can reduce the wear of the connection part, ensure the flexible rotation of the bucket on the excavator arm, and make the excavator operation smoother. In order to obtain the best results, be sure to use the lubricant recommended by the manufacturer, and apply the grease according to the specified time interval in the device manual.

3.Anti -corrosion and rust treatment

If the excavator operates in a humid and corrosive environment (such as the seaside and near the chemical areas), he should conduct anti-corrosion rust and anti -rust treatment. Anti -corrosion paint can be applied regularly, and anti-corrosion paint with reliable quality and metal material should be selected.

When there are rust on the surface of the bucket, remove the rust in time. You can use sandpaper to polish or chemical rust removal agent, and then replenish the paint to prevent the rust from spread further and corrode the internal structure of the bucket.

Precautions:

When the excavator does not use it for a long time and the bucket needs to be stored, choose a dry and ventilated environment. If it is stored outdoors, it is best to cover it with rainproof cloth to prevent rainwater from eroding. Before storage, you can comprehensively clean and maintain the bucket, such as applying anti -rust oil.
